| yesterday me and anna went downtown. we ate lunch on the riverwalk at hard rock cafe. their potatoe skins are so freaking good! and the strawberry daquaris too haha. our waiter was pretty cool too. there was 4 birthdays yesterday at hard rock...meaning if its your birthday you have to go up on the staircase and your waiter bangs on a drum and yells to get everyones attention and then you yell happy birthday at them. it was fun the first time but by the fourth time it was old. i clapped for everyone cause i had to up there for my birthday and people probably didnt want to clap for me but they did anways so i thought id pass the favor along. after that we went to rivercenter mall for a few minutes. then we had a sudden urge to look like tourists so we had our picture taken in front of the alamo. we first asked this police man to take it but he calimed he couldnt cause there was a large crowd...right. too bad ive seen it ten times as crowded but oh well. so we had some random tourists take it for us and then we went back to my house to get my stuff cause i spent the night at casa del mo. we rented diaries of a mad black women and ate ice cream and drank tea...the movie was sooooo funny. anna and i had tears in our eyes we were laughing so hard. g-raffs!!! hahaha. good movie. after the movie we went to annas room and read magazines and fell asleep. this morning we went to cbc for church. id only ever been for school graduation so it was pretty cool. then we went back to her house and ate peanut butter and jelly and burn some cds. on the way home i had to stop by starbucks and now im getting ready to have my cousin come over. i havent seen him in about 6 years so it should be exciting! | | |
| saturday i went to donavens house and met his sister and mom who were nice. we went to eat at beto's (the nachos are good) and then we went back to his house to watch american history x and part of undercover brother. then i went home and then sunday i went to church. it was so awesome to see everyone who went on the mission trip there. we had so much fun talking about the week. after church donaven and i went to eat with some of his family friends at taco c. then we went back to my house and watched the new guy. it was his cousin connors birthday so we went to his grandmas house for the party. we ate and went swimming and then i had to leave. its sad cause he left today to go to seattle for a month so needless to say im very sad about that. but today me and my parents went to fredericksburg for the day. i got this cute white skirt that i cant wait to wear. now im working on my pictures from mission trip and waiting for dinner...im so hungry! happy 4th of july!!! | | |
| its been a while since ive updated but yeah. all week ive been in new orleans with my youth group for mission trip/camp. it was freaking awesome!!!! it was one of the best experiences in my life. we were painting housing developements and then playing with kids who were soooo cute! sunday we went to a black church. you think in movies they over do it but the movies are exactly how they really are. it was so cool. then one day we went to the french quarter to wander around and then one day we went to the aquarium. one night we went to talk to the homeless people...kinda scary but interesting. not only was the trip cool and i got to become better friends with alot of the youth group i also got to know donaven better...and for those of you who havent heard about donaven before you know that ive always had a crush on him. well everything worked out fantastically and now we are going out!!! so freaking excited about it!!! | | |
| well today i went to a doctors appointment and then i went to get a new sweater for school because mine was all stretched out...not attractive. then i went to the quarry to look around for a few minutes. after not finding anything exciting i went home to eat lunch and then to target. you can never go wrong with target. and strategically they placed a strabucks in target for addicts like me. target and starbucks...perfect combination. then i went home and anna and i discussed oprah online while watching it on tv. i didnt realize that anna was watching it at first so i was telling her about it...i felt like a dork when i figured out she was watching it but thats ok. so now i waiting for her to come over and spend the night so yeah. | | |
| today i went to the sonterra gym with anna and we did the treadmills. it was my first time to do one but it was cool. they are stratigically set up in front of the windows looking at the pools so that means checking out the hot lifeguards! so after that we went to the grill for some sandwitches which are always good. it still felt like i was walking on the treadmill when we were walking to lunch. kinda funny feeling. after lunch we went to wal-mart for some "after lunch light shopping" but it turned into this hour and a half deal were both me and anna spent more then we intended too. quite funny...she went in for a fathers day present and toothpaste and i went in for a movie...however we left with quite a bite more! it was pretty intense shopping...i got a blister on my finger from holding the basket!! haha it was great. she spent about $10 more then i did and ended up only having a dollar left so when we were deciding between ice cream and starbucks for some refreshments i said i would buy her something cause i "lost" in shopper...since we were having a competition and all...yeah...anyways we went to starbucks after much thought and got some drinks and poundcake. then i took her home and then i went home and watched some tv (including oprah) and now im waiting for the spurs game!!! they better win this time...hopefully the refs wont be as crappy as they were tuesday night. my dad got me a ginobili jersey so ill be wearing that of course! | | |
